Phase 1/2/3 of Delhi Mass Rapid Transport System (DMRTS) is a coveted project which won the Technology Award (Group II) sponsored by Japan Society of Civil Engineers (JSCE) in the FY-2020. Kumagai Gumi Company Limited was a leading partner of the Joint Venture (JV) for this project’s construction.
Kumagai Gumi Company Limited was involved in the 11-km long subway that runs north-south through the heart of Delhi: from the University of Delhi in the north of the city center to the government building in Delhi via Old Delhi. Kumagai Gumi’s JV constructed 4.5-km with 4 underground stations on the north side.
